Listen Up.

The only comment on my Liszt post reads:

You do a disservice to the performers when you don't even mention them.

I could do a bigger disservice to you by not posting anymore. If the only comments we get scold us like we're little servant-children for making honest mistakes, this blog will not be fun for us anymore. We are not making money. We can quit anytime. Would you all like that?

Agreed. What a twerp. Thanks for the effort you make in not only posting the music, but providing commentrary. Please keep it up, and to the whiner: do some legwork, fucknuts. Someone else has already done a lot of it for you.

I agree completely Sam.

In case you guys were wondering, we do this blog for 3 reasons:

1: Fun
2: Give you guys good music
3: Have you guys learn about the music you are listening to

If we were getting paid for this, i could understand us being accountable for every detail. However, we are not; instead we use our time and money to get this stuff to you guys.

So if you're going to give us shit for making petty mistakes, like not telling you the artist of the CD WE uploaded and WE provided, rather then asking politely, please realize that we have more to do then catch every goddamn single solitary detail, or get the fuck off this blog.

Well I think your blog is great. I just discovered you guys, so don't go away please! Classical music is hard to come by in blogland and you provide a valuable service by introducing us to some wonderful recordings. Mr. anonymous can go buy the bloody things like I do if he's so desperate for artist information. Thanks guys!

Pay no mind to the complaining fool. This is my new favorite blog and a true gem among mp3 sites. Keep up the *very* good work.

I read the criticism.

I can see getting irate about some troll or 'net kook, like the one at hansZUNblog, with the FBI & RIAA threats; the crazy vulgar talk about his mother being a two franc whore who gave him good sex and how he'll be happy to give anybody a bj for some smokes, because he's gay like that.

But your poster wasn't nuts, wasn't scummy, wasn't rude, and vile crap didn't flow from his keypad. All he said, to paraphrase, was to be fair, and to give credit to whom it is due. And you didn't like to hear that.

Your answers to him were to curse, to pout, and to threaten to pick up your marbles and go home. Well, you've got to do what you've got to do, but don't pretend to yourselves what you two (the self serving leechers' comments excluded) wrote to that man was any kind of mature proportional response.

Although I do love what this blog has been doing, I must agree with the last poster. The person's concern was perfectly valid, and was not made in any scathing kind of way. The response to him, on the other hand, was way over the top.

Imagine spending hours researching, writing and uploading a post. Imagine the only acknowlegement of your work being a demand for more. There was no please or thank you.

I have a right to be annoyed.

But yes, I pouted. I was unhappy and I needed to say something. I'm done now.

If you don't like my rant, just ignore it and keep downloading our music.

Rant, pout, fume and stamp your feet. I don't care. The music is great (Via Crucis - what a revelation!) You people are doing a great job in a neglected field (at least online). I visit every day for new surprises.

please don´t mind neither commentator nor defenders.
(thought it´s right that even sicker is possible)

it was impudent and disrespectful. period. no disservices here anywhere.

I'm the original poster. Sorry you got so upset. I reread my post to see what was so outrageous about it..I should have added that I appreciate your efforts to share great music with others. Helping them find out more about the music (including helping them BUY the album if they like by giving information on the artists) would seem to fit right in with your mission statement. It only takes a few keystrokes to list the artists who make the music possible. (Can you figure out I am a performer myself?) Anyway thanks to you and thanks to de Leeuw and the Dutch choir for this performance.

Hi anonymous,
I'm glad we've settled it, and I hope you continue to visit Masterfade. In the future, I'll try and include the artists without having to be reminded. A little drama on a blog is always fun, though, isn't it?
