Announcements

First off, sorry about that little episode. You had caught me at a bad time. From now on, you respect me, I'll respect you, and we'll all be friends.

The War poll is closed. Thanks to those who voted. The winner: Beethoven

We have plenty of Beethoven on tap, so if you want anything in particular of Beethoven to be posted, let us know.

I want to thank you for your blog. What better way to expose a 21st century audience to the intimidating world of symphonic music? That said, I find it hard to believe that people will take the time to complain about posts offered on an mp3 blog. It's like going to a soup kitchen and complaining about the fare.
Thanks for sharing your expertise and library with us.

Congratulations to Ludwig. At the moment, I'm listening to the the sonatas and variations for cello and piano (Rostropovich and Richter). Thoroughly recommend them to other Masterfaders. But do you have any more piano sonatas in the library?
Stefano.

Great blog and even greater theme! I'm glad my personal favorite won the poll; I've always thought he is in a class of his own. Anywho, since I already have about 90% of L.v.B's Op./WoO. works, I can't find anything to request except some of those other 10% that are really hard-to-get: the Lieder (Songs). Whether you manage to get some or not is not that important as is your dedication to keep this blog working... Many thanks and sorry for this long "essay" of mine. Greetings from Belgrade!

aleksandar,
I might be able to get what you're looking for. Do you have his Italian songs (mostly op. 82)?

No, I actually don't have ANY song of LvB except 2 from Op.98 ("An die ferne Geliebte"). So, I would really appreciate that very much!
Thanks in advance...
